Abstract

I was born and educated in the Midwest and in my poetry I explore generational longevity, the trials of a long life, ancestral inheritances, and what they mean for our lives going forward. I feel the weight of those who have gone before most strongly, and believe the power and strength of those who lived through the Great Depression was greater than our own.
