Description

One of two Chinese porcelain famille rose vases. The vase has overglaze famille rose painted on enamel decoration of horses in a landscape imitating the style of the 18th century painter Lang Shih-ning (Jesuit missionary Guiseppe Castiglione). False Ch’ing dynasty Ch’ien-lung reign (1736-1796) mark.
