Lecture 24: Protein Structure: Collagen
This lecture in biochemistry has main topics: the collagen helix (a form of secondary structure) and the structure of the collagen protein. The post-translational modification of collagen by proyl hydroxylase will be also discussed along the molecular importance of Vitamin C, ascorbic acid, to maintain strong collagen and to prevent scurvy.
