Abstract
How often we've felt the need be a human more than anything else? Can this be the case also for self care, and delivery of healthcare? Value based care to connect and cater for one’s whole being could help go a long way. For, the person walking into a health facility might often have underlying unmet needs than apparent through the visible symptoms. While it might be a genuine challenge to meet them all, adopting a more holistic approach to health certainly helps identifying and addressing them through person centered care. Complementing treatment with healing, it facilitates patient activation and benefits provider - patient relationship; both have a potential impact on the coping strategy and process.
