Abstract
"Aphasia" is a poem written by author C.L.Shoemaker that examines the experiences and emotions of a stroke patient struggling with language recall and awareness. The poem touches on the reality of language control, miscommunication, stroke testing, ischemic strokes and speech language therapy.
