Abstract

The purpose of this starred paper is to find effective interventions to teach basic math skills to students with learning disabilities. This research is broken down into three main interventions: Technology models, Number lines, and Concrete-Representational-Abstract (CRA). I analyzed data from ten research studies and found that these efficient interventions help students with learning disabilities increase not only their math abilities but also their self-esteem.
