Lecture 19: Chirality Conventions

Abstract

This biochemistry lecture reviews the three common chirality conventions used in the discipline: the plus-minus convention for describing the rotation of plane polarized light, Fischer's D-L convention, and the R S convention for describing the three dimensional geometry.
