Abstract
A memoir about the life lived as a daughter of a Vietnam Veteran. Set in the 1980s to the present time, this memoir embodies a discovery of who my father is and how his past trauma has shaped not just me but our family as a whole. By connecting his past to where we are today, I have written our stories to share how even though war ends, the aftermath affects families for many generations.
