Abstract
There are a high volume of material returns every year at ABC company. This capstone describes the case study research conducted to understand the current processes and data available at ABC Company and compare it to available market research in order to make a case to upper management that review and improvement on returns is essential to capital and O&M budget reductions. The comparison research revealed that 20-30% of ABC Company's project dollars are returned, depending on the department in review, which is in alignment with retail stores prior to implementing a returns change management program, thus justifying a recommendation for a long term process change and data review process implementation.
