Abstract

The St. Cloud Area Quarterly Business Survey found business experienced only slightly better results than in May. More businesses reported decreasing business activity this summer. Small layoffs were reported along with less capital spending. Nevertheless, steady employment, rising wages and rising prices are expected into early 2025. In special questions, a quarter of survey respondents said their firms were impacted by the Crowdstrike outage.
